America’s Got Talent to Tour the U.S.

BURBANK: Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia have revealed that a number of acts from the eighth season of America’s Got Talent are slated to participate in a live tour of the U.S. this fall.

America’s Got Talent Live will make stops in more than 30 cities around the country. It is scheduled to begin on October 3 at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, Florida. Tickets for all tour dates go on sale today. A wide variety of performers, including singers, dancers and comedians, will make appearances in such states as Tennessee, Colorado, California, Indiana and New York, among others.

Owned by Syco Entertainment, American’s Got Talent is currently broadcast on NBC at 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It is co-produced by FremantleMedia North America and Syco Entertainment.
