SEATTLE: Amazon has scored a multiyear content deal with Bleecker Street that makes Prime Instant Video the exclusive subscription home for such theatrical releases as Danny Collins, starring Al Pacino, and Pawn Sacrifice, featuring Tobey Maguire.

Prime members in the U.S. will be able to enjoy the selection of films from Bleecker Street through the Amazon Instant Video app for TVs, connected devices and mobile devices, or online at Amazon.com/PIV at no additional cost. Additional films that will come to Prime Instant Video from Bleecker Street before any other subscription service in the U.S. include the 2015 Sundance hit I'll See You in My Dreams, starring Blythe Danner, the family-drama Captain Fantastic, led by Viggo Mortensen; and the Bryan Cranston-led Trumbo.

"Prime members love independent films and we're excited to add these compelling Bleecker Street titles to Prime Instant Video," said Brad Beale, the VP of digital video content acquisition for Amazon. "The high caliber and growing lineup from Bleecker Street brings an impressive variety of films that we know Prime members will enjoy."

"As we build out our collection of films, it's important to us to share the work of these amazing filmmakers with a broad viewing audience," added Andrew Karpen, the CEO of Bleecker Street. "We look forward to bringing Prime members an entertainment experience we're sure they'll love."
