Alien Con Event to Spotlight HISTORY’s Ancient Aliens

NEW YORK: HISTORY has signed a multiyear deal with event developer Cosmic Con to create Alien Con, a three-day event in California inspired by the network’s series Ancient Aliens.

Alien Con will provide show fans, sci-fi buffs and pop-culture enthusiasts a lineup of special presentations, interactive displays and exhibits, never-before-seen episodes, celebrity appearances, exclusive merchandise, fan competitions and much more. The event will be held October 28 to 30 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara.

Alien Con will be supported across all HISTORY platforms, with a promotional campaign featuring sweepstakes, affiliate tie-ins, social media extensions and sponsorships. Ancient Aliens explores the controversial theory that extraterrestrials have visited Earth for millions of years. It’s 11th season kicks off tonight.
