AGBO, the independent entertainment company founded by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo and Mike Larocca, has expanded its senior executive team with the hiring of Scott Nemes, Marian Koltai-Levine and Rik Toulon.

Nemes has been brought on as president of television, a role in which he will oversee the creative and business strategy for AGBO’s activities in episodic series. He joins the company from NBCUniversal, where he was executive VP of creative acquisitions and international development for Universal Studio Group. While there, he ran the division that identifies, secures and exploits rights to multiple forms of IP.

Koltai-Levine has been hired as president of marketing and communications. She will lead AGBO’s marketing department and oversee all publicity and communications strategy. She joins AGBO from Rogers & Cowan/PMK, where she led the film and entertainment division as president of film content and marketing. She represented a variety of directors, producers and production companies, including the Russo brothers and AGBO.

Toulon has been tapped as general counsel and will oversee AGBO’s business and legal affairs, as well as corporate legal matters. He has more than 25 years of experience representing and advising high-level entertainment and media clients in all aspects of development, production, financing and distribution. He joins from CBS Films, where he was executive VP and general counsel.

“We are thrilled to welcome Scott, Rik and Marian to our AGBO team,” said Jason Bergsman, CEO. “They each bring valuable skills and experience that will meaningfully contribute to AGBO’s success.”

“This trio of talent will build the next foundation of AGBO’s expansion and successes,” added Larocca and Angela Russo-Otstot, president of creative. “Each, in his or her own right, would be a tremendous addition to our team. The three, together, represent a powerful force for change and growth.”
