A+E Networks Spotlights New Series & Formats

NEW YORK: A+E Networks is heading to MIPTV with more than 450 hours of new programming, including Mankind: The Story of All of Us.

A+E Networks will highlight all-new series at MIPTV such as the 12-part, one-hour series Mankind: The Story of All of Us, an epic tale of the global rise of civilization produced by Nutopia for HISTORY. The 12-part, half-hour series 10 Things You Don’t Know About features a historical person or event in each episode and is produced by Asylum Entertainment for H2, while Shipping Wars centers on independent transporters who discover that fortunes can be made by shipping things traditional carriers won’t. It is produced by Megalomedia for A&E.

Also on offer is the two-hour Lifetime original movie Chris Bohjalian’s Secrets of Eden, based on a New York Times best-selling novel and starring John Stamos and Anna Gunn. It is produced by Craig Anderson Productions for Lifetime Television. In addition to new series being added to the company’s slate, A+E Networks is launching several new formats at MIPTV, including Pawn Stars, 7 Days of Sex, Monster In-Laws and Dance Moms.
