A+E Networks Promotes Ellen Lovejoy

NEW YORK: Ellen Lovejoy, previously the senior director of international content sales at A+E Networks, is now VP of international content sales.

 

Lovejoy oversees off-network sales of A+E Networks content to Canada, Australia and New Zealand. She develops and implements sales strategies for the programming catalogue, and she will act as the lead on IT, global format sales and operational initiatives. She will report to the to-be-named managing director of international content sales.
 
Prior to joining A+E Networks, Lovejoy worked for Target Entertainment as the senior VP of sales and programming. She produced the documentary Angels of Milot: Haiti’s Aftershock, and has negotiated co-productions with HBO and WGBH.
 
Sean Cohan, the senior VP of international at A+E Networks, said, “Ellen joined A+E Networks in early 2011, and was immediately an impact player. She exceeded her revenue targets for the year, and has formed important partnerships with producers and broadcasters across her territories. I am pleased to announce her promotion.”
