A+E Networks Hires for Legal & Business Affairs Post

NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES: Neil Klasky has been made the senior VP of West Coast legal and business affairs at A+E Networks.

Klasky, based in the company’s Los Angeles office, will be responsible for supervising the production and talent negotiations of all scripted programming for the company’s portfolio of networks, including A&E, Lifetime and HISTORY. Previously, Klasky was the senior VP of FX Productions in Los Angeles, where he oversaw all business and legal affairs activities for the company’s drama and comedy projects. From 2004 to 2009, he was the VP of business and legal affairs of Fox Cable Networks.
