ABC Orders More of Two Comedies

BURBANK: ABC has agreed to five more episodes each of the freshman sitcoms Malibu Country and Last Man Standing.

Twentieth Century Fox Television’s Last Man Standing, starring Tim Allen, has been the top-rated show in its Friday night time slot among adults aged 18 to 49. Led by Reba McEntire, ABC Studios’ Malibu Country was television’s most-watched comedy this season. Both shows are broadcast by the ABC Television Network on Fridays at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., respectively.

The network also recently ordered additional episodes of the sitcom The Neighbors and the dramas Scandal and Nashville.
