ABC Family Launching Digital Previews of Summer Shows

BURBANK: ABC Family is sampling some of its new series across digital platforms and social media ahead of the summer season.

The new titles taking part in the promotional strategy are the procedural drama Stitchers, the unscripted reality drama Becoming Us, the comedy Kevin from Work and the reality shows Job or No Job, Monica the Medium, Startup U and Next Step Realty: NYC. Some of those series are slated for exclusive digital premieres across various websites, including Stitchers launching on EW.com and Kevin from Work debuting on Facebook. Free previews of full episodes will be available on a range of social media sites, as well as on a special ABC Family website where fans can also post reviews. The linear launch of the summer slate is set for June 2.

“We are eventizing the entire summer and offering a massive sampling campaign to showcase our new shows,” said Nigel Cox-Hagan, ABC Family's senior VP of marketing, creative and branding. “We have recently announced the largest programming slate ever in the history of our network and we want as many people as possible talking about them.”
