MTV Bringing Back YO! MTV Raps

MTV is reinventing the YO! MTV Raps franchise as both a linear and digital series across its platforms.

YO! MTV Raps debuted in August 1988 and became the premier source for all things hip-hop. The reinvention of the franchise will kick off with a YO! MTV Raps: 30th Anniversary Experience live event on June 1 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The event will be live streamed by MTV.
