Former Discovery & TLC Networks Exec Edward Sabin Joins A+E Networks

NEW YORK: Edward Sabin has joined A+E Networks as managing director for the Americas and head of commercial operations for international.

Sabin will manage all aspects of the company’s activities in Latin America and Canada, in addition to leading business operations for A+E Networks’ international channels. He will also play a strategic role in new business globally. In the new roles, Sabin will report to Sean Cohan, the executive VP of international at A+E Networks. Sabin will be based out of A+E Networks’ Los Angeles offices.

Prior to joining A+E Networks, Sabin was the group COO for Discovery and TLC Networks, as well Science Channel and Velocity. Before joining Discovery in 2007, Sabin was with Fox Television Studios for seven years, where he served as senior VP of business development and operations, and, before that, VP of business and legal affairs.
