CBS Launches Digital SVOD, Live Streaming Service

NEW YORK: CBS Corporation has launched a new digital SVOD and live streaming service for the CBS Television Network.

Dubbed CBS All Access, the new service offers subscribers thousands of episodes from current seasons, previous seasons and classic shows on demand. It also allows users to stream local CBS Television stations live in 14 of the largest U.S. markets at launch. CBS All Access is available at CBS.com and on mobile devices through the CBS app for iOS and Android. It will become available on other major connected devices in the coming months.

For $5.99 per month, CBS All Access offers full current seasons of 15 prime-time shows, available the day after they air. There are also past seasons of eight major current series, including The Good Wife, and more than 5,000 episodes of classics such as Cheers and Twin Peaks.
