Multicom to Promote Pope John Paul II Movie

LOS ANGELES: Multicom Entertainment Group is slated to showcase The Secret Life of John Paul II, a feature film starring Aleksey Guskov (The Concert), at this year's MIPCOM and AFM.

The Secret Life of John Paul II is inspired by the book penned by Lino Zani, a former ski instructor and friend of the late pope. Guskov stars alongside Giorgio Pasotti, known for his role in The Last Kiss. The production was executive produced by Nicola and Guido DeAngelis of De Angelis Media. It is being represented by Multicom in all territories aside from Italy, Brazil and Russia.

Irv Holender, the CEO of Multicom Entertainment Group, commented: "In April 2014, Pope John II, one of the most beloved pontiffs in recent times, who passed away in 2005, will be declared a Saint by the Vatican. The Secret Life of John Paul II is the perfect film event."
