Ex-GSN Exec Joins ABC Family

BURBANK: ABC Family has tapped Kelly Goode, a former head of programming at GSN, to serve as its VP of original programming, with oversight for all existing scripted series.

Reporting to Kate Juergens, executive VP of original programming and development and chief creative officer at ABC Family, Goode will also focus on relationships with production teams and facilitate communication between different productions and all ABC Family departments. She heads up a current programming team that includes Jennifer Gerstenblatt, Kelly Garrett, Danielle De Jesus and Julie Katchen. ABC Family’s scripted slate includes Pretty Little Liars, Twisted and The Fosters.

Goode’s experience includes stints at GSN; John Singleton’s production company, New Deal Productions; Lifetime Television; CBS Productions and Columbia Pictures Television.
