TNT Cancels Southland, Orders Inside Job

NEW YORK: TNT has given the go-ahead for a new unscripted series, Inside Job, which puts contestants through a unique career-screening process, but has axed the police drama Southland.

Inside Job comes to TNT from ALL3MEDIA America/Studio Lambert (Undercover Boss). Creator Stephen Lambert and Eli Holzman are serving as executive producers. Six episodes are set to launch in 2014.

About the cancellation of Southland, the network said: “TNT has made the difficult decision not to renew Southland for another season. We are enormously proud of Southland, which stands as one of the best police dramas ever made.”
