Spike TV Appoints New Brand Marketing & Creative SVP

NEW YORK: Terry Minogue, Spike’s former VP and creative director, has become the company’s senior VP of brand marketing and creative.

In his new position, Minogue will be responsible for controlling the strategy and creative execution of Spike’s promotion and advertising across all platforms. His duties will include developing and implementing branded promotional campaigns, overseeing the in-house creative services division as well as outside creative agencies, and incorporating brand standards for all of the network’s creative output. He will report to Niels Schuurmans, the company’s executive VP of brand marketing and creative.

As the VP and creative director for Spike, Minogue contributed to a number of campaigns for the channel’s major franchises, including Star Wars on Spike and network originals such as Bellator MMA, Bar Rescue and Ink Master. Before being hired by the company, he served on the Syfy creative team that launched Steven Spielberg Presents ‘Taken’ and Battlestar Galatica. He previously worked at Powerhouse Productions on documentaries for PBS’ Nova and Discovery Channel.
