E! Signs David Burtka to Talent Deal

LOS ANGELES: David Burtka is on board to serve as a correspondent for E! News as well as specials and live red-carpet coverage through a new talent deal with the celebrity- and entertainment-focused network.

Burtka will begin reporting for E! News full time as of January 2012. The talent deal also sees him participating in Live from the Red Carpet and E! Specials. Burtka made his TV debut on The West Wing. His other television credits include CSI: NY, How I Met Your Mother, Steven Spielberg’s On the Lot and Crossing Jordan. His film credits include Regrets Only, A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas and Woody Allen’s Hollywood Ending. Burtka is also a chef.
