CULVER CITY: The Actors Hall of Fame Foundation has more than 150 hours of film, TV and theater content in development through 2017.

These projects include short-form videos for the nonprofit foundation’s social-media platforms, full-length feature films, miniseries for television, live theatrical reproductions and a game show. Also part of the roster are targeted programs for the foundation’s two streaming channels: The Shakespeare Channel and The Actors Channel, which will premiere on Roku this fall.

Among the titles in preproduction are the feature film The Life of Laura Keene and an international revival of the play “Our American Cousin.” Additionally, The 2016 Actors Hall of Fame Induction is a live event that will be exclusively available on social media. It will honor 30 film, TV and theater actors.

Rusty Citron, the president of The Actors Hall of Fame Foundation, stated: “The goal of our development program is to create content that generates sustainable revenue to restore dramatic arts education in schools.”

The Actors Hall of Fame Foundation was launched with the support of HBO, Universal Pictures, Microsoft, MGM, Lionsgate and Google. The Actors Hall of Fame has inducted 75 actors.
