TVS Shores Up Global Agreements

LONGWOOD, September 10:
The Television Syndication Company (TVS) has closed a number of international
deals, including Discovery HD licensing the rights to The Lost City in the
Sky
.

Daily Shortcuts and the lifestyle series For Your Home and Paint, Paper and Crafts have been picked up by Casa Club in Latin America.
The lifestyle series The Donna Dewberry Show and teen programs Blue Dolphin Kids, Ultimate Choice and Real Life, Real Girls were licensed by Open Heavens Media in the U.K. and Entertainment Hwy in Nigeria.

Jivi Media in Russia took
on the rights to Kid Fitness,
while Astro Xpresi in Indonesia signed a deal for Ultimate Choice and Real Life, Real Girls. TVB Hong Kong picked up Aqua Kids.

Short-form segments Car
Coach
and Daily Shortcuts were acquired by Channel 4 in Finland. The DVD
rights for the feature film Christmas at Maxwell’s went to Lighthouse in the U.K., while The World
Fishing Network in North America inked an agreement for Fishing Western Australia.

Inflight deals were also
closed. The documentary The Color of Change licensed to Emirates Air, while Malaysia Airlines
picked up Intrepid Journeys.

At MIPCOM, TVS will also
be offering up Island Hoppers,
a travel series showcasing the Caribbean; Teen Kids News, a news program for teens by teens; and Legends
of Outlaws
, a docudrama focused on
people who helped shape the American landscape.
