WaterBear Network has entered into a partnership with Jack Wolfskin that will see the outdoor brand become a founding partner of the free streaming platform.

Per the agreement, a dedicated Jack Wolfskin channel on the WaterBear Network app and platform is set to launch in the spring. It will help raise awareness of the brand’s mission and commitment to the preservation, restoration and expansion of wildlands, wild animals and plants around the world.

Also as part of the new partnership, WaterBear and Jack Wolfskin will produce a series of films that will share stories about nature discovery, conservation and rewilding, told through the eyes of key ambassadors.

Sam Sutaria, WaterBear’s VP of strategy and development, said: “We could not be more proud to have such an iconic outdoor brand joining us as a founding partner. The apparel industry has a lot of responsibility on its shoulders over the next decade, and we are excited to have Jack Wolfskin by our side as we take WaterBear into year two. With a 40-year history, and some incredible plans and products in the pipeline for next year and beyond, we have some major stories to tell.”

Mokhtar Benbouazza, Jack Wolfskin’s VP of marketing, said: “Sustainability has been a core part of our company strategy and culture since our founding. 2021 marked our fourth decade of making innovative and sustainable outdoor apparel, footwear and equipment, and we strongly believe that in order to enjoy the outdoors, we need to protect the natural world. We are embarking on a brand reset this year, and WaterBear is the perfect partner to help us on our journey.”
