Woodcut Media is currently producing the new true-crime series How I Caught the Killer for Pick, a free-to-air network in the U.K.

How I Caught the Killer explores what it’s like to be a cop working on murder cases. The 10×60-minute show is narrated by former policeman Rav Wilding (Crimewatch). It is being executive produced by Woodcut’s Matt Gordon and Kate Beal. TCB Media Rights is on board as global distributor.

“We are really excited to be producing another gritty crime series for Pick, especially as it follows on from the phenomenal success of Britain’s Most Evil Killers and its international counterpart World’s Most Evil Killers, which are now into their third season on the channel,” said Kate Beal, the CEO of Woodcut Media. “This series will also allow viewers to step into the lives of the police, and really experience in great depth all aspects of their challenging and sometimes disturbing investigations.”

“Despite the seemingly endless supply of true crime on the market, the creative folks at Woodcut have done it again and given us an all-new twist on the genre, one for which we continue to see increasing international demand,” added Jimmy Humphrey, the head of acquisitions and co-productions at TCB Media Rights.
