truTV has greenlit four unscripted comedy projects currently in development, including a show from Maz Jobrani.

At the helm of each of the comedy network’s pilots are creator-stars and comedians Fortune Feimster (The Mindy Project), James Davis (Hood Adjacent), Jobrani (Maz Jobrani: Immigrant) and Yamaneika Saunders (Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks), who will each take creative control of their own project.

Feimster’s Around the World in 80 Games (working title) has her traveling the globe, competing on a different international game show in a different country each week.

Blackspiracy with James Davis (w/t) is a variety show in which the comedian dissects black conspiracy theories via sketches, interviews, man-on-the-street bits and music.

Jobrani is also developing his own comedic variety show, tentatively titled The Untitled Maz Jobrani Project, which uses stand up, scripted sketches, interviews and hidden-camera bits to explore the lengths people will go to fit in.

Saunders is exploring a new comedy format in her project Can You Beat Yamaneika? (w/t) in which comedians compete against one another (and Saunders) in a series of fast-paced games to see who is funnier on their feet.

The four new projects join previously announced animated pilot This Functional Family (w/t), from comedian Jo Koy, on truTV’s growing development roster. The half-hour animated comedy—a semi-autobiographical take on Koy’s upbringing in a dysfunctional, multi-racial family—has added several well-known voice actors to the pilot, including Tia Carrere, Gillian Jacobs, Phil LaMarr, Josh Luis Keaton and Omid Abtahi.
