Trio of U.S. Channels to Simulcast Planet Earth II

PASADENA: Next month will see the three-network simulcast premiere of the natural-history series Planet Earth II on BBC America, AMC and SundanceTV in the U.S.

Planet Earth II takes viewers on an exploration of the natural world. The show, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, features ultra HD footage of islands, mountains, jungles, grasslands, deserts and cities from around the globe. It is due to debut on BBC America, AMC and SundanceTV in the U.S. on February 18 at 9 p.m. The following five episodes will air on BBC America on Saturday nights after the premiere.

Planet Earth II is a BBC Studios Natural History Unit production co-produced with BBC America. It was first broadcast on BBC One in the U.K. late last year.
