Tony Tackaberry, former CEO of Lion Television US, and his new company Station 6 Productions have entered a co-production partnership with the recently formed Timestamp Media.

Station 6 and Timestamp, founded by Harvard historian Vincent Brown and documentary producer Graham Judd, will develop and produce a slate of originals that leverages their expertise in the history space.

Tackaberry’s experience with the genre includes Walk Against Fear: James Meredith (Smithsonian Channel) and History Detectives (PBS). Brown, Judd and their team at Timestamp have credits for titles such as Herskovits at the Heart of Blackness, African American Lives with Henry Louis Gates Jr. and the NOVA series This Emotional Life and Fabric of the Cosmos.

“As Station 6 continues to grow globally, it’s important to align with trailblazers in their respective fields; Graham, Vincent and their dynamic storytelling team at Timestamp Media have the vision, voice and intellectual pedigree to create content that’s both timely and timeless,” Tackaberry said. “Not only a brilliant creative mind, Vincent also has real star quality, and we’re excited to tap into his on-screen potential.”

“Timestamp and Station 6 are a fantastic match,” Brown added. “Tony’s long experience and tremendous success in telling smart and entertaining stories to a broad audience perfectly aligns with our desire to make history unforgettable.”
