TLC has ordered its first original short-form wedding series for YouTube, Countdown To I Do, which will premiere exclusively on TLC UK YouTube in Q4.
Produced by Studio71, the 6×8-minute self-shot format will follow couples on their wedding days. It aims to provide an intimate look at the wedding from the perspective of the bride, groom, bridal party and selected guests, who double as the show’s cameramen and women. Shot using handheld Sony RX100 cameras, the show plays out like a collection of Instagram stories.

As our first YouTube commission, Countdown To I Do marks an exciting step in TLC’s digital evolution, and promises fans the ultimate front row seat to the most important day in couples’ lives.”
