The Dangerous Rise of Andrew Tate, produced by VICE World News, has been picked up by the BBC to air later this month on BBC Three.

The hour-long doc details Tate’s alleged sexual abuse and assaults. It gives voice to women allegedly abused by Tate and takes viewers inside Tate’s compound in Romania, where he was recently arrested.

The documentary also delves into the so-called “loverboy method” that was sold by Tate to thousands of young men as a tool for gaining influence over women and that Romanian authorities now allege he used to recruit and manipulate vulnerable women to perform pornographic content.

VICE Distribution has also sold The Dangerous Rise of Andrew Tate to the free-to-air broadcasters NRK (Norway), SVT (Sweden), SBS (Australia) and TV 2 (Denmark).

The doc is now available on iPlayer and will premiere on BBC Three on February 21.
