Super Channel & Go Button Pact for Four Factual Titles

Canada’s Super Channel Fuse has commissioned two new factual series from Go Button Media and acquired two others, including The Animal Within.

Represented internationally by Autentic Distribution, The Animal Within investigates how nature has created the perfect machine in countless animals and examines what makes some creatures more resilient as others have faded away. The series, which also asks what we can learn to make humans better, is set to make its premiere on Super Channel Fuse this month.

Colossal Machines, also represented by Autentic, is slated for a January premiere. The series reveals what’s at stake when the world’s largest constructions and machines are put to work, and how all the pieces come together to make an impact.

Two new Super Channel originals—Mysteries of the Ancient Dead and Secret Societies: In the Shadows—will follow later in 2022. Distributed internationally by BossaNova, Mysteries of the Ancient Dead will investigate the secrets of ancient civilizations, exploring religious beliefs, ceremonies and rituals around death and the afterlife. Secret Societies: In the Shadows, represented by DCD Rights, will look at the mysterious purposes of secret societies.
