Scout Productions has tapped Alex Mohler as its new head of partnerships to oversee the development of brand partnerships, consumer products, licensing and experiences connected to Scout IP.

Mohler joins Scout following a successful 2023, which saw the launch of Queer Eye season seven, The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning, The Secrets of Hillsong, MerPeople and Living for the Dead. This year will see the debut of new series with talent such as Charlie Puth, Julia Fox, the Chrisley family and more.

Mohler will build on Scout Productions partnerships such as previous Queer Eye collaborations, including with the LEGO Group for LEGO Queer Eye—The Fab 5 Loft set, Funko Pop! for exclusive figurines and Walmart for an exclusive furniture line.

Previously, Mohler built campaigns with global brands at The Ellen DeGeneres Show while generating millions of dollars for charities, community organizations and families in need. Following that, he joined Westbrook Media, where he developed entertainment content and platform partnerships for brands, including the “Backstage” series for Cadillac, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. Before leading TV and branded content partnerships, Mohler oversaw entertainment experiences for Mastercard at many of the world’s largest music festivals.

“We are delighted to welcome Alex Mohler in our newly created head of partnerships role at Scout Productions,” said Eric Korsh, president of Scout Productions. “With his extensive experience in forging strategic alliances and building award-winning campaigns, Alex brings a unique blend of creativity and business acumen to our team. His track record of connecting brands with artists and delivering meaningful fan experiences aligns perfectly with our vision for innovative and impactful content.”

“I am honored to join Scout Productions as the head of partnerships,” Mohler said. “Throughout my career, I have been passionate about bridging the gap between creative talent and brand collaboration, and I am excited to bring that passion to this dynamic team. Together, we will explore new possibilities, elevate partnerships and create unforgettable experiences for our audiences. I look forward to contributing to Scout’s continued success in the ever-evolving landscape of entertainment and media.”
