Quintus Media Places Factual Content in Europe & Canada

BERLIN: Quintus Media has secured sales for titles from German prodco Maximus Film in Europe and Canada, with season two of The Most Dangerous Ways to School among them.

CBC’s specialist channel ICI EXPLORA in French-speaking Canada signed on for the second season of The Most Dangerous Ways to School. The five-parter shows viewers the most extreme conditions children face on their way to school, as they must conquer floods, brutal cold, wild animals and more.

In addition, Quintus Media presold Giant Constructions: The World’s Most Spectacular Bridges to German news channel N24. The series presents the most stunning bridge structures built by man, with each episode putting a spotlight on a different type of bridge. It is currently in production. Quintus Media also presold the six-part documentary series Behind Bars: The World’s Toughest Prisons to Discovery Southern Europe for Spain and Italy. The Maximus Film production takes viewers into the world of notorious prisons.

Another presale Quintus Media racked up is for the pop-science series Evil Knows! The series was sold to Poland’s TVN. On the show, Evil Jared Hasselhoff is on the hunt to uncover the truth behind myths and phenomena from daily life. Each episode is comprised of seven different scientific categories such as “unbreakable,” which sees Evil test whether products actually live up to the manufacturers’ claim of being “unbreakable.”
