Ovation TV Sets Premiere of Millennials Docuseries

SANTA MONICA: Ovation TV has slated the U.S. debut of the six-part documentary series Millennials: Growing Up in the 21st Century for May.

From filmmaker Rick Stevenson (Expiration Date), Millennials: Growing Up in the 21st Century will air on Ovation TV over six weeks beginning May 5 at 7 p.m. The docuseries examines the lives of a diverse group of 22 individuals as they transition from childhood to adolescence to young adults. It features yearly candid interviews over the course of 15 years. Millennials is a product of The School of Life Project, founded in 2001 by Dr. Stevenson. Dedicated to helping children embrace their identities, the project enables self-discovery by posing age-appropriate questions on an annual basis, creating a visual time-capsule of kids growing up.

Millennials: Growing Up in the 21st Century consists of six episodes. “Secrets” kicks off the series on May 5 following three young people as they deal with issues ranging from an abusive past to coming to terms with their sexuality to addiction and more. The subsequent episodes are “Popularity” (premiering May 12), “Immigrants” (May 19), “Siblings” (May 26), “Achievers” (June 2) and “Resilience” (June 9).
