New World Cup Docs Coming to Sky & NOW

Sky Documentaries and streaming service NOW have lined up a trio of new documentaries for next month that shine a light on iconic moments in World Cup history.

Italia 90: Four Weeks that Changed the World is the definitive story of the World Cup that forever changed football, as told by an international roster of interviewees that includes Paul Gascoigne, John Barnes, Terry Butcher, Jürgen Klinsmann, Lothar Matthäus, Salvatore ‘Toto’ Schillaci, Roger Milla and Dragan Stojković.

Italia 90: Four Weeks that Changed the World, commissioned for Sky by Tom Barry and Janine Thomas, is produced by Blast! Films.

Hurst: The First and Only shines a light on Geoff Hurst, whose life is about so much more than scoring the only hat trick in a World Cup Final. The story is told by friends and peers, from Harry Redknapp to Harry Kane, Gareth Southgate, Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer.

Commissioned for Sky by Jack Oliver, Hurst: The First and Only is produced Ron Scalpello and Matthew Lorenzo.

Brazil 2002 celebrates the journey of stars such as Ronaldo, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldhino, Juliano Belletti, Juninho and Denílson, who earned the Seleção their fifth World Cup in 2002 under the leadership of Luiz Felipe Scolari.

Brazil 2002 is produced by Collective Media Group, Entourage and Trailer Films.
