NEW YORK: The upcoming season of Top Gear, presented by Chris Evans, will stream on Netflix, going head-to-head with Amazon Prime’s new motoring show that features former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

Netflix’s deal to stream the new Top Gear season is a continuation of the service’s existing agreement with BBC Worldwide. Season 23 will feature Evans and American actor Matt LeBlanc, as well as German racing driver Sabine Schmitz, Formula 1 commentator Eddie Jordan, motoring journalist and YouTube petrolhead Chris Harris and car reviewer and TV presenter Rory Reid. The new season will debut on May 8 in the U.K., but there is no word yet on when it will come to Netflix.
