Love Nature has commissioned Ireland’s Wild Islands, produced by Crossing the Line in partnership with RTÉ and ARTE France.

The blue-chip series is hosted by one of Ireland’s most celebrated wildlife and outdoor television presenters, Eoin Warner, who travels by sailboat down the Irish coast as he explores the wildlife inhabiting these storied islands. Blue Ant International will oversee presales and international licensing.

The Warner-hosted version of Ireland’s Wild Islands is available as a three-part series. An extended cut of the series includes two additional, non-hosted, blue-chip versions that exclusively highlight the landscape, wildlife and the islands themselves.

Carlyn Staudt, executive VP of Love Nature programming and development, said: “Crossing the Line is a widely sought after natural history production company, celebrated for their craftsmanship in storytelling and filmmaking techniques. Ireland’s Wild Islands is our first greenlight with the company and is sure to win the hearts and minds of Love Nature’s engaged audience globally. As we continue to work with co-production partners across Europe and the world, we are excited to have RTÉ and ARTE France onboard for this exciting project.”

“With the natural world under siege, Ireland’s remote islands are extraordinary and precious refuges for wildlife and we’re delighted to be working with Love Nature, RTÉ and ARTE to bring their wonders to a worldwide audience,” said John Murray, managing director of Crossing the Line.
