Love Nature Greenlights Two New Wildlife & Nature Programs

Love Nature has greenlit two new wildlife and nature programs titled HumanLike: The Chimps of Fongoli and Aussie Snake Wranglers: Deadly Pursuit.

“Love Nature viewers enjoy a wide range of natural history series,” said Alison Barrat, senior VP and head of content at Love Nature. “Over the last decade, we have built a portfolio of wildlife series that appeals to our global audience. These two new titles add to our channel’s diversity of offerings. Each of these new titles explores the connection between human and animal species. They both tap into a different aspect of our global fascination with wild species.”

HumanLike: The Chimps of Fongoli takes a look at how a group of chimpanzees has adapted to survive in an extreme environment in Senegal, on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert. The film traces the 25-year story of how American primatologist Jill Preutz and local chimp expert Dondo “Johnny” Kante got close to the chimps and uncovered their unique behaviors that might just reveal secrets about humans’ own evolutionary past.

Aussie Snake Wranglers: Deadly Pursuit is an adrenaline-fueled series that follows a group of professional snake catchers on the Sunshine Coast of Australia. Led by venomous snake guru Stuart McKenzie, the team answers multiple distress calls a day from everyday Aussies whose homes have been invaded by snakes that can disappear in the blink of an eye.
