Lion Television Appoints New Creative Director

Daniel Pearl has been hired as creative director for the factual content producer Lion Television.

Pearl joins from Paramount, where he was commissioning editor of unscripted for Paramount+ and Channel 5. He has also held a number of senior roles at the BBC and Channel 4.

Pearl has produced and commissioned projects such as Leaving Neverland: Michael Jackson and Me and Our Yorkshire Farm. He has also played a role in bringing presenting talent to Channel 5, including Jeremy Vine, Dan Walker, Jay Blades and Lucy Worsley.
