PBS has acquired the U.S. broadcast rights for Lion Television’s upcoming factual series Pompeii: The New Dig from All3Media International.

Daniel Pearl has been hired as creative director for the factual content producer Lion Television.

Lion Television has been commissioned to produce the three-part archaeology series Pompeii: The New Dig (w.t.) for BBC Two and iPlayer.

LONDON: all3media international has closed a host of deals with broadcasters worldwide for several factual titles from Lion Television, including an agreement with AMC Networks in Central and Eastern Europe for 80-plus hours.

CANNES: PBS NOVA and Lion Television have entered into an output deal, with all3media international set to distribute the titles developed through the partnership.
