Keshet Productions UK Installs Head of Development

Keshet Productions UK has appointed former Endemol Shine exec Jamie Ormerod as director of development in an effort to strengthen its non-scripted development team, whose recent credits include ITV2’s Celebrity Showmance.

Ormerod previously served as creative director at Endemol Shine and executive producer for Tuesday’s Child and the BBC, working in entertainment and comedy entertainment. He is credited with creating Golden Balls and Tenable for ITV, as well as That Puppet Gameshow for BBC One.

The indie production company also recently hired Tom Sutton as senior development producer and Alice O’Brien as development assistant producer.

David Williams, the creative director of non-scripted at Keshet Productions UK, remarked: “This is an exciting chapter in the growth of Keshet Productions UK. Jamie, alongside Tom and Alice bring a breadth of experience and passion for creating standout TV, and I have no doubt they’ll play a huge role in shaping our next wave of original entertainment programming.”
