Keshet Productions’ Speed Freaks, a brand-new series that sees the daredevil Zef Eisenberg try to break the British land-speed record, is set to air on ITV4 later this summer.

The 6×1-hour series will showcase Eisenberg’s journey up to his final attempt to break the record, which he will do in a car he plans to engineer himself. With over 40 land speed records currently to his name, Eisenberg will scour England to meet fellow mechanics enthusiasts and glean insight from them about how to build his custom car.

He then challenges his own team of mechanics to build a new car each week, ultimately culminating in Eisenberg attempting to break the record in his specially built vehicle in the series finale.

Speed Freaks is distributed by Keshet International.

David Williams of Keshet Productions said, “This high-octane series features a feast of items and VTs geared up to indulge anyone with an interest in cars, motorsports and engineering. Zef’s need for speed and desire to break that land-speed record is infectious and makes for compelling viewing.”
