ITN Productions Restructures Top Team

ITN Productions has made a series of promotions to accelerate its international and digital growth, with a focus on the U.S. and new markets.

Caroline Short has been promoted to the newly created role of head of global TV, and Georgina Mantle has been upped to global creative director. Mantle will play a key role in shaping company strategy, supporting the digital division and opening up new worldwide markets for the company.

Short’s new role reflects ITN Productions’ ambition to build a worldwide content powerhouse and recognizes that its current development projects are rooted in the U.K. Short will streamline decision-making, align teams across factual in the U.K. and internationally and sharpen the company’s offer to both domestic broadcasters and international platforms. She will continue to run the company’s base in Leeds.

Chris Broughall, deputy head of international, will continue to drive the international team day to day. Jeremy Daldry remains deputy head of U.K. factual.

ITN Productions has also bolstered its development leadership, promoting Gorana Jelovina to deputy head of development, working closely with Dan Gilmore, head of development. John Keyes takes on sole responsibility for secondary sales and distribution.

“Caroline and Georgina are forces of nature,” said Ian Rumsey, managing director of content at ITN. “We’re fortunate to have them, and I’m delighted to give their amazing talents even greater scope and scale as we push into new markets and expand our global slate.”

“Bringing U.K.‑rooted, globally resonant stories together under one roof makes perfect sense for our partners, allowing us to move faster and pitch at scale,” Short noted.

Mantle commented, “Our creative pipeline spans premium factual, returning series and digital formats designed for worldwide audiences. I’m excited to help shape strategy and open new doors.”
