LONDON: Investigation Discovery has commissioned a second season of See No Evil from Arrow Media for U.S. audiences.

The new season will have 13 one-hour episodes. The show is a co-commission with Bell Media’s French-language broadcaster Canal D in Canada. It is co-produced with Canada-based production company Saloon Media.

Thomas Viner, executive producer of Arrow Media, said: “See No Evil is a great example of the kind of utterly involving storytelling that Arrow is known for. We’re delighted that series one proved so successful with viewers, and with the new series, we’re moving things forwards again. These episodes feature astonishing crimes, nail-biting investigations, and above all more CCTV and surveillance video than ever before.”

“With so much of our lives spent tethered to screens of one kind or another, See No Evil serves as a poignant reminder that technology has the potential to capture crucial evidence, and deliver justice when a heinous crime has been committed,” said Kevin Bennett, the executive VP and general manager of Investigation Discovery. “The invaluable impact of surveillance footage on criminal investigations is powerful knowledge to remember the next time we find ourselves alone and vulnerable.”
