LONDON: Atlantic Productions has inked several international deals for its original David Attenborough-fronted specials.

PTS in Taiwan, RUV in Iceland, Hong Kong’s TVB and VRT in Belgium picked up Flying Monsters, Attenborough’s enigmatic look at the lives and behavior of pterosaurs. Those broadcasters also picked up David Attenborough’s Conquest of the Skies, which tracks the evolution of flight in animals, as did France TV, Finland’s YLE, RTL GEO, DR in Denmark and Servus TV in Austria.

Additionally, YLE, RUV and VRT went for David Attenborough’s Rise of the Animals: Triumph of the Vertebrates, a documentary about the evolution of vertebrates.

Finally, Polyband TV nabbed Kingdom of Plants and Galapagos, both of which are Attenborough collaborations with Atlantic Productions.

“In the fine tradition of David Attenborough’s work, amazing visuals coupled with incredible stories have allowed us to bring audiences a totally new way of seeing the natural world,” Atlantic Productions said in a statement. “These international sales speak volumes about the ongoing demand for his work across the globe.”
