Glass Entertainment Group Ups Creative Team

Glass Entertainment Group (GEG) has promoted members of its creative team, including Jon Hirsch, who has been appointed senior VP of current.

In his role, Hirsch, who most recently served as VP and executive producer, will continue to oversee GEG’s current slate of a dozen projects that includes Heartland Docs DVM (Nat Geo WILD) and the forthcoming six-part docuseries Lincoln (CNN). Prior to joining the company, Hirsch helped launch Lucky 8 TV. He has previously developed and produced content and campaigns for networks and brands such as HBO, CBS, NBC, ESPN, NFL, Adidas and Google.

Promoted from VP of programming and production to senior VP of programming and production, Bart Makatche will continue to provide production oversight across a varied slate of projects and pilots for nearly a dozen networks. Since joining GEG in 2005, he has worked across over 20 programs including hits such as Tanked (Animal Planet) and Heartland Docs DVM (Nat Geo WILD), as well as the upcoming Frozen in Time (HGTV) with Maureen McCormick.

Ben Fetterman, upped from director of business affairs and finance to VP of business development, will continue to identify and develop new business opportunities and production strategies as well as expand GEG’s roster of corporate and commercial clients. Fetterman is also integral in GEG’s expanding podcast division.

Andrea Gunning, GEG’s new VP of business affairs and podcast development, previously held the role of executive in charge of production. In her new position, she will continue to head the business affairs department and oversee human resources as well as production management.

All will continue to report to and work creatively alongside CEO Nancy Glass.
