TVF International has licensed doc packages to AMC Networks’ SVOD services Acorn TV and Sundance Now for North American rights.

Sundance Now picked up Accidental Anarchist, Beyond Right and Wrong: Stories of Justice and Forgiveness, Hurdle and Dear Mandela. Also included in the package were My Enemy, My Brother and The Daughter Tree, as well as the arts-focused films The Lady in Number 6 and The Man Who Shot New York/Last Stop Coney Island.

Acorn TV went for Brilliant Bronte Sisters and The Genius of Roald Dahl (both commissioned as part of ITV’s Perspectives strand), as well as Narnia’s Lost Poet: The Secret Lives and Loves of CS Lewis, two seasons of Wainwright Walks and three seasons of Digging for Britain.

Harriet Armston-Clarke, director of the independent distributor, commented, “TVF International has a more than 30-year history of distributing the very best independent documentaries, with hosted UK-series and award-winning features forming tent-pole strands of our catalog, so it is fantastic to be working with Sundance Now and Acorn TV to give these voices a new platform.”
