LOS ANGELES: FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) has entered into a production partnership with Tent City Entertainment, known for its true-crime content.

Tent City Entertainment, led by co-founders Lori Rothschild Ansaldi and Lisa Bourgoujian, has built a reputation for their development and production of true-crime content for platforms globally. Rothschild Ansaldi and Bourgoujian are also known for their historical and entertainment-driven programming. The new partnership complements FMNA’s current portfolio of alternative programming through its core business as well as Original Productions, 495 Productions and Random House Studio.

“I want to welcome Tent City to the FMNA family,” said Jennifer Mullin, FMNA co-CEO. “True crime is something we at FMNA haven’t yet tapped into and it’s a genre that continues to be in demand with viewers in the U.S. and abroad. We look forward to expanding on Lori and Lisa’s long, successful track record and will also look to their team’s expertise in related scripted ventures.”

“We’re thrilled to be working with FremantleMedia North America,” commented Ansaldi and Bourgoujian. “The moment we met Jennifer Mullin we knew it was the right fit and we look forward to embarking on this great adventure.”
