Facebook Watch to Host COVID Frontline News Event

Facebook Watch is partnering with 7NEWS in Australia, Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post and Singapore’s The Straits Times for a news special, COVID Frontline.

The 45-minute special will air at noon Hong Kong/Singapore time and 3 p.m. in Australia tomorrow (April 3) and will then be available on-demand on Facebook Watch. Shot from studios in Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong, it will feature medical experts and reporters discussing how each of these countries is handling the COVID-19 pandemic and answering questions for viewers.

The show will be co-hosted by Michael Usher, anchor of The Latest from 7NEWS; Salma Khalik, senior health correspondent at The Straits Times and Yonden Lhatoo, chief news editor at the South China Morning Post.
