eOne Inks First-Look Deal with Chopped Creators

LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One (eOne) has entered into a first-look partnership for unscripted programming with Cleve Keller and Dave Noll, the creators of Chopped.

Under the agreement, Keller and Noll will develop and produce original unscripted programming with eOne under their Keller/Noll banner. The pair have been creating formats together exclusively since 2007. Besides the Food Network hit Chopped, their credits include GSN’s Winsanity!, AMC’s FilmFakers, Bravo’s Rocco’s Dinner Party, HGTV’s Beat the House and Lifetime’s Your Mama Don’t Dance, to name a few. In 2009, Keller and Noll started collaborating with Barry Diller, overseeing the creative for his TV production company Notional. They have also had development and/or series deals with CBS, CMT, Comedy Central, Discovery, E! and FOX, among others.

Tara Long, the executive VP of U.S. alternative programming at eOne Television, noted: “Cleve and Dave have generated a legacy of successful, game-changing series which brilliantly translate around the world, and we are delighted to forge this relationship with them.
