discovery+ Orders SmartLess Doc Specials

discovery+ has commissioned two documentary-style specials following Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett during the forthcoming North American tour for their SmartLess podcast.

The untitled two-part documentary will feature highlights from the trio’s celebrity interviews during the six-city tour in February, as well as behind-the-scenes access. It is slated to land on discovery+ in 2022.

The SmartLess podcast aims to connect and unite people from all walks of life to learn about shared experiences through dialogue and humor. In each episode, one of the hosts reveals his mystery guest to the other two, leading to an improvised and authentic conversation.
