Discovery Orders Shows for Quest Red & HGTV

Discovery has commissioned the body positivity program Sun, Sea & Obesity (w/t) for Quest Red and the renovation show Derelict Rescue (w/t) for HGTV.

Derelict Rescue, produced by Air TV, sees families take on rundown buildings in the U.K. with dreams of turning them into beautiful homes. The families will put their finances on the line to convert the derelict sites, attempting to complete the majority of their projects alone.

Produced by Spun Gold, Sun, Sea & Obesity follows a group of overweight individuals as they travel from the U.K. to a holiday resort in Antigua to experience a judgment-free vacation while conquering their fears and learning to accept their bodies with the help of specialist staff. The show explores the harsh reality of living with weight issues as well as the impact these issues can have on individuals.
