Dino Hunters, a new series following ranchers and cowboys across the West in the U.S. as they hunt for prehistoric dinosaur fossils, is slated to premiere on Discovery Channel this month.

In the badlands of Wyoming, Montana and the Dakotas, valuable dinosaur bones are being found by ranchers and cowboys, who are using the discoveries to help save their livelihoods. Telling their various stories, Dino Hunters will debut on Discovery Channel on June 19 at 9 p.m.

In every episode, new fossil discoveries are made—though there’s always the risk that if the finds can’t be excavated before the harsh winter, the fossils could be lost to erosion, turning the potential fortune to dust. The series brings the dinosaurs back to life using a combination of 3D modeling and CGI to create X-ray visualizations of both the fossils and the dinosaurs. Dino Hunters is produced for Discovery by Half Yard Productions, a Red Arrow Studios company.

In addition to watching the series on Discovery, viewers can find Dino Hunters via the Discovery GO app.
