Curiosity and fuboTV have inked a multiyear distribution partnership to launch Curiosity Stream and Curiosity Channel on the live TV streaming platform.

Through the agreement, the linear channel Curiosity Channel is now available to subscribers of fuboTV’s Extra package in the U.S. The Curiosity Stream VOD service, meanwhile, will roll out for viewers in both the U.S. and Canada in the coming weeks.

Brandon Fong, senior VP of partnerships and distribution for Curiosity Stream, said: “We are delighted to be part of the fuboTV family and contribute to their customer-centric OTT streaming service. As the leading factual-entertainment service, Curiosity is well positioned to amplify fuboTV’s value proposition to cord-cutters and consumers who want to know more about the world around them.”

Ben Grad, senior VP of content strategy and acquisition at fuboTV, said: “The addition of Curiosity’s programming, which is renowned for its incredible quality and superior production, will appeal to fuboTV subscribers of all ages. Delivering an unsurpassed content experience has been a focus for fuboTV since we first launched 4K streams three years ago. Curiosity’s content portfolio, which includes thousands of premium non-fiction titles, is a perfect fit.”

The news of the partnership with fuboTV comes as the factual media company announced it has rebranded to Curiosity. The SVOD service is still called Curiosity Stream, but is now written as two words.
